Abstract

Araştırmada ergenlerin internet bağımlılık düzeylerini saldırganlık ve duygusal başa çıkmanın ne düzeyde yordadığını belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma 2014–2015 eğitim-öğretim yılında Adana ili Yüreğir ve Sarıçam ilçesi sınırları içinde bulunan Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’na bağlı dört Anadolu Lisesinin 9, 10, 11 ve 12. sınıflarına devam eden 465 öğrenci (269’si kız ve 196’sı erkek) üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada İnternet Bağımlılık Ölçeği (Günüç ve Kayri, 2009), Duygusal Başa Çıkma Ölçeği (Durak ve Şenol Durak, 2011) ve Saldırganlık Ölçeği (Buss ve Perry, 1992) kullanılmıştır. Lise öğrencilerinin İnternet Bağımlılık Ölçeği toplam puanının ve alt ölçeklerinin saldırganlığın ve duygusal başa çıkmanın boyutları tarafından ne düzeyde yordandığını belirlemek amacıyla çok değişkenli regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Analizler sonucunda fiziksel ve dolaylı saldırganlık ile duygusal işlemleme değişkenlerinin lise öğrencilerinin internet bağımlılığını ve bağımlılığın kontrol güçlüğü, işlevsellikte bozulma ve sosyal izolasyon boyutlarının anlamlı yordayıcıları olduğu belirlenmiştir. İnternet bağımlılığının “yoksunluk” boyutunun anlamlı yordayıcıları ise dolaylı saldırganlık, duyguları ifade etme ve duygusal işlemleme olarak bulunmuştur.

Abstract

In this search, it was aimed to determine if there is a influences the level of prediction between the level of adolescents’ internet addiction and the aggression and emotional coping. The study included a simple random sample of 465 adolescent students. Internet Addiction Scale, Emotional Coping Scale and Aggression Scale were used in this study. Multivariate analysis of regression was done to determine in what levels can be predictable the total score of internet addiction scale of high school students and the subscales per the aspects of emotional coping and aggression. It was designed by the result of analysis that physical and indirect aggression along with emotional processing faktors were significant predictors of adolescents internet addiction and control difficulty of addiction, and trait of deterioration in functionality and social isolation. Also, the significant predictors of internet addiction of deprivation traits were found as indirect aggression, emotional expression and emotional processing.
